The Lensical reimagines live performance for healthcare settings. This groundbreaking project combines dance, theatre, and immersive art to create intimate, uplifting performance experiences for viewers in hospitals.
Bespoke design transforms patient rest areas into intimate sanctuaries where boutique performances come alive. Each captivating short work is carefully crafted to emotionally engage audiences, offering moments of reprieve and inspiration within the hospital environment.
The Lensical celebrates the transformative power of live performance, creating meaningful connections with diverse audiences while enriching well-being through the artistry of dance and storytelling.
As part of the DreamBIG Festival, The Lensical brings intimate and immersive dance performances directly to hospital patients.
These performances are designed to spark joy and connection, creating meaningful experiences for patients, caregivers, families, and staff. While not accessible to the general public, The Lensical highlights the transformative power of dance in personal and healing environments.

The Women's and Children's Hospital provides state of the art health care for women and children in Adelaide and South Australia.
It is the state’s leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions and SA’s largest maternity and obstetric service. It also provides important community-based services.
Flinders Medical Centre (FMC) is the southern area's largest hospital and provides medical services for people living in the southern metropolitan area of Adelaide. The Emergency Department is open 24 hours, seven days a week.
The hospital is co-located with the Flinders University School of Medicine and Flinders Private Hospital.
