Nurture your little one’s curiosity with Literacy Tales, designed for little adventurers.
Children will explore the zoo through stories and craft, and learn about a specific animal. Enjoy our large open-plan space for crafts, a cozy nook for storytelling, music, and movement, plus an exciting adventure to meet animals up close.
This exciting program immerses students in imaginative stories, informative animal information, and fun activities. Perfect for fostering a sense of connection and adventure among your tiny herd of explorers.

- Get Involved - this activity is hands on. Participants are encouraged to get in on the action through dancing, making, or sharing their thoughts and ideas
- Outside - This activity takes place outside, and participants are encouraged to dress for the weather
- This workshop involves both activities inside a classroom, as well as walking to specific locations outdoors in the zoo
- Participants will be asked to listen to facilitators, as well as take part in activities
