Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes to bring a performance to life?
Students are invited ‘behind the curtain’ to learn first hand from some of Adelaide’s best creatives, technicians and arts workers in this very special one day event. From lighting and set design, to stage management, to marketing and publicity, students will be given hands on experiences of what a career in the arts really looks like.
The event will be made up of panels and hands on workshops of industry-leading professionals working for companies such as State Theatre Company of South Australia, State Opera of South Australia, Windmill Theatre Company, Patch Theatre and Balya Productions. The full program will be released in January 2025.
We recommend registering a limited number of students with an interest in behind the scenes roles, rather than entire classes.
This venue is wheelchair accessible.
