As most of the workshops and exhibitions are FREE*, your class can have a full day extravaganza for just $16 per student ($10 for equity schools).

*Please note priority for free workshops is given to schools attending a paid performance.

The DreamBIG team is happy to help you create the perfect itinerary for your class. Email us with the subject line ‘Booking Advice’, and be sure to include the ages, numbers and any specific information about your class in the email (provide best email). 


Suggested Itineraries

Week 1 

  • 10am – Create your own stories at Book Boogie at the State Library of South Australia 
  • 11.30am - Watch Little Bozu and Kon Kon at the State Library 

Week 2 

  • 10.30am - Learn about friendship in the Boy & the Ball at the State Library of South Australia 
  • 11am – walk to Elder Park and have lunch 
  • 12pm – Create whatever you can imagine at Massive Maker Space up on Festival Plaza 

Week 1  

  • 10am – Watch Alison’s Lester’s IMAGINE LIVE being brought to life in the Dunstan Playhouse  
  • 11.50am - Draw using light in Glow & Tell in the Drama Centre Rehearsal Room 
  • 1.40pm – Draw on the walls in the Scribble Zone in the Station Foyer, Dunstan Playhouse 

Week 2 

  • 10am – take part in DreamBIG’s Birthday Party in the Banquet Room 
  • 11.30am - Watch Fancy Long Legs in the Dunstan Playhouse 
  • 1.40pm - Draw on the walls in the Scribble Zone in the Station Foyer, Dunstan Playhouse 

Week 1 

  • 10.30am - Add to the collection at The Museum of The Everyday at the SA Museum 
  • 12pm – Explore one of DreamBIG’s interactive exhibitions such as Listen to Me or 50 Years of Dreaming Big 

Week 2 

  • 10.45am - Watch The Princess, The Pea (and the Brave Escapee) in the Space Theatre 
  • 12pm – Explore one of DreamBIG’s interactive exhibitions such as Listen to Me or 50 Years of Dreaming Big 
  • 1pm– Make music in The Plants composition workshop on Festival Plaza 

Week 1  

  • 10.15am - Watch Whalebone in the Space Theatre 
  • 12pm – Drop in to The Plant’s interactive installation on Festival Plaza 
  • 1pm – Lose yourself to dance at Mini SPIN in the Banquet Room 

Week 2  

  • 10am – Watch A Simple Space in Dunstan Playhouse 
  • 11.30am - Become a puppeteer in String Symphony on Festival Plaza 
  • 1pm – Learn about Our Changing City at the Migration Museum 

Week 1 

  • 10am – Visit Parliament House and learn about becoming A Future Leader 

Week 2 

  • 11.15am - Create your own Comic Book Character in the Circulating Library of the State Library 
  • 1pm – Watch The Bookbinder in the Institute Gallery of the State Library 

Week 1 

  • 11.30am - Explore one of DreamBIG’s interactive exhibitions  
  • 1pm – Join Mini SPIN’s dance rave 

Week 2

  • 10am – Watch A Simple Space in Dunstan Playhouse 
  • 11.30am - Become a puppeteer in String Symphony on Festival Plaza 
  • 1pm – or watch The Bookbinder in the Institute Gallery of the State Library 

Week 3  

Join us at Behind the Curtain on May 20, the WRITE NOW Festival on May 22 or the South Australian Youth Forum on May 17!
